That is the Kansas single-trip permit fee for one movement, from one origin to one destination.

K.S.A. 8-1911(f)(2): “On and after January 1, 2020: (A) Forty dollars for each single-trip permit; (B) two hundred dollars for each single-trip permit for a large structure, as defined by rules and regulations; (C) two hundred dollars for each single-trip permit for a superload, as defined by rules and regulations;”

This page covers general single-trip permits. Large structure and superload are separate $200 products.

When this number took effect

The statute prints “On and after January 1, 2020.” We are not inventing a later date. The KDOT HTML fee page returned 403; K-TRIPS Permit Fees is login-only. The statute is the official fee text used here.

Checked 2026-08-21 (PT) against the official Revisor snapshot.
