That is the general Oregon single-trip oversize/overweight permit rate. The total depends on the route. We do not calculate routes. We publish what the state publishes.

Official OD page: “The state administrative fee for annual and single-trip oversize/overweight permits is $8.00. Fees are paid at the time and are not refundable, even if the permit is not used.”

Official RUAF page: “The Road Use Assessment Fee (RUAF) replaces the weight-mile tax for the loaded portion of non-divisible hauls when the vehicle’s combined weight is more than 98,000 pounds when traveling in Oregon.” “RUAF is based on the loaded weight of the combination, the number of axles, and the miles traveled.” “Road use assessment fees are automatically calculated during the permitting process.”

Example, not a quote: 100 assumed miles at the printed 8-axle 98,001–100,000 cell of 19 cents per mile, plus the printed $8 admin, is $8.00 + $19.00 = $27.00. The desk runs its own miles in ORION. We do not take origin or destination.
